Senior Prom Night

I love seeing these kids on Prom night! The day was absolutely crazy, as Mike was sick and I had to stop midway to run to the store for meds and juices. Andy volunteered to take them to his brother and then got stuck in the MSU traffic on the way home to be ready for photos.

So Justin came over and got his photos taken without Andy first. We got them together later, by going down to the boat, since the Prom was a cruise down the Grand River on the Michigan Princess.

The weather was rainy, the girls were cold in their beautiful dresses, but Troys Mom and I took photos of all the boys first when the sun peeked out for a few moments.

Then we headed to the Island for photos under the gazebo.

We made a stop at Sam's house for her Mom and Dad to take their pics, then went to eat while we waited for everyone to arrive at the boat. The next call from Andy was that he forgot the tickets! He had to run home, but still made it in plenty of time to board the boat.

Catie got her first glimpse of Prom, as we were invited to board the boat and enjoy taking photos. Just watching all the couples as they boarded was fantastic. They all looked wonderful.

Andy and Sam danced so much he came home with blisters on his feet, so I would call it a good Prom.

Everyone arrived back at our house before 1am and the boys spent the night. I am thankful for a safe and happy Prom Night. These boys have been friends so long that it was very special to watch them last night. I can't imagine graduation day. I will need a box of Kleenex!
